Dario Stevanato
Dario Stevanato graduated with top honours (summa cum laude) in Economics and Business from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and in Law from the University of Parma (cum laude). He obtained a PhD in Tax Law from Sapienza University of Rome and is currently a Full Professor of Tax Law at the University of Trieste, where he teaches in both the Law and Economics degree programmes.
Over the course of his more than thirty-year academic and research career, he has served as a speaker at numerous conferences, seminars and study meetings, has been a member of ministerial commissions, and has been called to testify as an expert in parliamentary hearings (on matters concerning the reform of the tax system and fiscal federalism).
He is the author of several hundred publications in Italian and international journals, as well as around ten monographic volumes.
He is an attorney admitted to practice before the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione) and a certified public accountant (Dottore Commercialista). He is the founder and head of the eponymous Law Firm, where he provides advice and assistance in all areas of tax law, including criminal tax matters.
